StreamClan began as RiverClan, which was originally led by the silvery grey tomcat called Riverstar, who worked with Thunderstar, Shadowstar, and Windstar to create the warrior code. The RiverClan leader didn't care much for the other clans, which probably was the reason that RiverClan and StreamClan do not care much for the cland either. Many moons passed since that time, and RiverClan became stronger and stronger...
The leader at one time was called Streamstar. Her beautiful coat and personality were admired everywhere. She had nothing to be jealous of, and she wanted to keep it that way. But when ShadowClan changed their name to SmokeClan, that sparked her jealousy. She quickly changed the clan's name to StreamClan, honoring herself by being in a clan named after her. Breezestar of WindClan, who was strangely a close friend of Streamstar, followed her lead, and WindClan became BreezeClan. When ThunderClan became OceanClan, Streamstar had nothing to be jealous of anymore.
The that beautiful she-cat was ignorant. She thought that StreamClan was so powerful that they could win a whole battle without even a scratch. She stopped having the borders patrolled, and soon StreamClan had many warriors. But when BreezeClan and SmokeClan attacked (BreezeClan led by a new leader, Flamestar), it was totally unexpected. Many warriors were killed during that battle, including Streamstar, all of her nine lives taken by Flamestar, who was exiled not long after. The new leader and the rest of the clan vowed never to be careless like that again.
