It's a warm place to sun OceanClan pelts. Prey often journeys here, and hides in the cracks of the rocks. Many seasons ago, when the OceanClan was still known as ThunderClan, Sunningrocks was just an island, so only StreamClan could claim it. Then, the water level dropped and OceanClan claimed it as their own. Since that time, the two Clans have fought bitterly for this part of the territory.
